Carson Leroy Kline

BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY - Carson Leroy Kline, 80, formerly of Williamsport, died on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center, Morgantown, KY.

He was married to the late JoAnn L. (Berkheiser) Kline on May 25, 1957 and who died on March 3, 1981.  They had celebrated 23 years as husband and wife before her death.

Carson was born on May 9, 1936 in Selinsgrove and was the son of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Kratzer) Kline.  He was a veteran that served with the US Marine Corps.  He was a member of the Crossland Community Church in Morgantown, KY.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making his own fishing lures and baseball.

Carson is survived by one son; Steven T. Kline (Carleen) of Williamsport, four daughters; Deborah M. Robertson (William) of Bowling Green, KY, Kimberly J. Boyd (Robert) of S. Williamsport, Beth A. Robinson (Matthew) of Loganton and Melissa M. Kline of Bellefonte, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, six brothers; Chester Kline of Williamsport, Daniel Kline of Cogan Station, Lester Kline of Williamsport, Charles Kline of Duboistown, Edward Kline of Williamsport and William Kline of Linden and three sisters; Thelma Kline of Williamsport, Martha Winder of Owensboro, KY and Judy Moyer of Williamsport.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister; Gladys Forrest.

There will be a public viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m.  The graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
