On behalf of the Warwick kids, please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. When I read Boyd's obituary in the paper this morning, I was taken back to our childhood days when we explored the woods together, enjoyed the snow and sledding and simply, being kids! Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you now, during this difficult time, and may the Good Lord continue to Comfort and Guide you in the days ahead.

Charles was a very special colleague to me. He was very helpful to me after I returned to the University after a two year period of sick leave. He was supportive and welcoming. He said he would do anything he could for me and provided much guidance. I felt comforted by him and appreciative of his kind gestures toward me. He was an outstanding colleague and friend. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Very sorry to read of Dr. Starkey's death today. I received my Masters degree from Bloomsburg in 2003 and Dr. Starkey was such an influence on me. His class was tough and I was challenged. He was one of those professors that pushed and made you want to be a better teacher. I learned so much from him and I'm grateful to have known him.
