WILLIAMSPORT - Mary Elizabeth (Boehm) Facey, 88, died on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home.

She was married on September 24, 1949 to the late Karlyle F. “Karl” Facey who had died on March 7, 2014. 

Mary was born on March 15, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Cantwell) Boehm.  She had worked at the Pennsylvania College of Technology as an administrative assistant for the dental hygiene program.  She was a member of the Church of St. Ann in Williamsport.  She was a devoted volunteer for Meals on Wheels for many years and enjoyed reading, family and friends.

Mary is survived by two sons; Peter G. Facey (Mindy) of Williamsport and David C. Facey of State College, two daughters; Carol E. Schaum (Paul) of Hanover and Katherine M. Wallace (Michael) of State College, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son; Mark E. Facey in December 2016.

There will be a memorial mass held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Church of St. Ann, 1120 Northway Rd., Williamsport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the STEP office of Aging; Meals on Wheels, 2138 Lincoln St., Williamsport, PA 17701.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
