WILLIAMSPORT - Patricia (Pat) Delores Miller-Parr, 89, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

She was born on March 15, 1932 in Chambersburg and was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Frances (Henderson) Miller. The fifth of eight children, she graduated from Williamsport School of Commerce, with a Junior Accounting Diploma. She worked at Leader’s Nursing Home, Manor Care for 28 years as a nurse’s aide and supervisor, until she retired. Known as an ever patient and humble woman, Pat was a lifelong learner who never lost her love for reading, enjoying cooking family meals, and traveling to visit with her children and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish in her memories a sister; Louise Slaughter (Samuel), five children; Tony Parr (Irene) of Wiscasset, Maine, Reginald Parr of Williamsport, Clarence Parr of Williamsport, Ronald Parr of Harrisburg and Lisa Harris-Parr (Michael) of Harrisburg. Fourteen grandchildren; Amariah Blanton, Meridian Blanton, Zane Parr, Jordan Parr (Julia), James Parr, Rochelle Diehl Christmas (Lance), Devon Parr, Alana Parr, Demond Parr, Deidra Reed, Mikele Parr, Mariko Parr, TiAnni Harris and Lafayette Harris. Thirteen great-grandchildren; Julius Parr, Josefina Parr, Ashlee Parr, Layla Parr, Zoe Parr and Micha Parr, Elizabeth Parr, Dason Parr, Da’Vion Reed, Sharone Christmas, Davonte Christmas, Maceo Christmas, and Lance Jr. Christmas, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter; Debra Parr, brothers; George, Demaris, Alfred, Antonia and Emanuel and sister; Arthenia.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5th, 2022 at the Lebanon Cemetery/Mount Vernon, 888 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
