SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Annabelle M. (McQuillen) Dobson, 91, went to be with her husband, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Manor Care, North.

She was married to the late Claude Homer Dobson, Jr. for 55 years at the time of his death in 2004.

Annabelle was born on November 14, 1925 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Mary C. (Manley) McQuillen.  She graduated from Williamsport High School.  She was a dedicated homemaker and had also worked in her earlier years at Valmont Mills and Frank Reed as a bookkeeper.  She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and was on a bowling league.  She was always involved with her children’s activities, taking care of her family and enjoyed reading.

Annabelle is survived by two sons; Mark Dobson (Donna) of S. Williamsport and Jeffrey “Jeff” Dobson (Heidi) of Muncy, two daughters; Cheryl Geise (Thomas) of Connecticut and Kim Yeagle (John) of Duboistown, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Lloyd, Carl and Charles McQuillen and three sisters; Florence Burrows, Gladys Neupauer and Mary Armstrong.

There will be no local services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
