Bonnie “Pumpkin” Jean Deeter, 62, of Williamsport passed away Sunday January 20, 2019 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danville, PA. She was born June 23, 1956 to Robert Russell, and Jean Marie (Jewell) Deeter in Williamsport. She graduated from Williamsport High School, and worked in the laundry at Divine Providence Hospital. A member of the Salvation Army, she was very involved with her church and volunteered and participated in many of their functions. She also deeply loved her family, her children, siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bonnie is survived by her two sons: Anthony and Billy Deeter; 6 grandchildren: Brittany Marie Neasman (Ira), Kayla Marie Diehl, Nathan Rowlands, Julianna Lee Deeter, Lydia Grace Deeter and Victoria Jean Marie Deeter; 4 great-grandchildren: Elijah and Jeremiah Neasman, Raelynn Diehl and Kyle Anthony Temple; one sister: Tina Marie Deeter; one brother: Michael Deeter; and her esteemed niece: Jacinta Lou Deeter. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 sisters: Roberta Ann Petion, Rebecca Lou Harman and Julia Mae Black.
Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Pumpkin’s life from 2-3pm Sunday January 27, 2019 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation and Funeral Service 500 West 4th Street Williamsport, PA 17710, and stay for her funeral service at 3:00 with Major Donald Spencer officiating.
