MUNCY - Janet (Brewer) Breauchy, 81, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was married to the late Robert Wayne Breauchy.
She was born on February 13, 1938 in Elmira, NY and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline (Spencer) Brewer. She had graduated from Bath, New York High School, SMEA Bible Institute of Transfer, PA and received an Associates Degree from Williamsport Business Institute. She had worked as a medical secretary, a job that she enjoyed. Janet was a member of the Church of God, Montgomery where she was very active and taught Sunday School. She passed on her love of homemaking to her daughters, especially cooking and baking. She was active in the Senior Community and particularly enjoyed bible studies and helped teach them. In her spare time, she was an avid reader, enjoyed needle work, especially in crocheting, very creative and loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Janet is survived by two sons; David W. Breauchy (Nancy) of Williamsport and Timothy James “TJ” Breauchy (Lynne) of TN; four daughters; Robin Keene (John) of Muncy, Robertina Breauchy of Hughesville, Elizabeth Wilson (Chadd) of Unityville and Crystal Seaman of Williamsport, four grandchildren, one brother; Duane Brewer of Las Vegas, NV and two sisters; Elsie Koch of Montoursville and Carol Shaffer of York, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister; Mary Tyler, one brother; James Brewer, four grandchildren; Timothy Breauchy, Rachel Keene, Lynzey Morehart and an infant grandson.
There will be a memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Church of God, Rte. 405, Montgomery with Pastor Kevin Redesky officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Janet’s name to Church of God at 8007 State Route 405, Montgomery, PA 17752.
