Joyce K. (Albertson) McQuillen

MONTOURSVILLE - Joyce K. (Albertson) McQuillen, 90, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at Valley View Nursing Center.

She was married to the late Lloyd J. McQuillen for 63 years until his death in 2011.

Joyce was born on February 23, 1927 in Dewart and was the daughter of the late Walter C. and Jennie A. (Rickert) Albertson.  She graduated from Watsontown High School in 1945 and then Nursing School at Muncy Valley.  Joyce had worked at GTE Sylvania in Montoursville and retired in 1987.  She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Montoursville and the Quarter Century Club at Sylvania.  She enjoyed reading, puzzles and watching sports on television.

Joyce is survived by one son; L. Joseph “Joe” McQuillen, II (Michele) of Montoursville, one daughter; Denise E. Koch (Robert) of Montoursville, two grandchildren; Meghan McQuillen and Katy McQuillen, both of Montoursville and one sister; Myra E. Wagner of Santa Clara, California.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Lutheran Church, 369 Broad St., Montoursville, PA 17754.

Arrangements are being handle by Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
