Lynette Toot 63, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday August 17, 2019, at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport. She was born September 26, 1955 to Walter James and Alice (Phillips) Shipman in Williamsport. Lynette was a nurse and served as such at St. Barnabas in Livingston, NJ, the Lycoming County Prison, and at Hope Enterprises in Williamsport. She loved reading, drinking coffee, going to BINGO, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Lynette is survived by three daughters: Michelle Weed of Montoursville, Alison Hunter (Donald) of Williamsport and Ashley Weed of Williamsport; three grandchildren: Isaiah Ritter of Williamsport, Blake Bree of Williamsport and Keyshawn Merriweather of Montoursville; a brother: Jason Shipman of Tuscaloosa, AL; and a sister: Terry Peau (Lino) of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Scott Shipman.
