MONTOURSVILLE - Mary Elouise (Schmouder) Fisher, 96, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at Arista Care at Loyalsock, Montoursville.
She was married to the late Carl E. Fisher for 67 years before his death in 2010.
Mary was born in Trout Run on April 2, 1922 and was the daughter of the late Hilary and Etta Mae (Holcomb) Schmouder. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1940. She was a member of the Lycoming Centre Presbyterian Church in Williamsport and was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed baking and canning.
Mary is survived by two sons; Dennis L. Fisher (Lori) of Lock Haven and C. Mark Fisher (Linda) of Cogan Station, three daughters; Christina R. Miller (Fred) of Coburn, PA, Rose M. Hakes (Larry) of Chesterton, IN and M. Kim King (Bill) of Trout Run, nine grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one brother; Hilary Schmouder, Jr. of Montoursville and one sister; Joanne Pennella of Omaha, NE. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister; Rose Gemberling.
There will be a public viewing 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will begin at 12:00 noon. The Reverend George V. Spencer will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
