Patricia A. "Patty" (Dolan) Cook

WILLIAMSPORT - Patricia A. “Patty” (Dolan) Cook, 67, formerly of Elmira, NY, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing Center where she was a resident for almost 20 years.

She was married to the late Charles Phillip “Phil” Cook for 12 years until his death on November 1, 1984.

Patricia was born in Williamsport on July 22, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Kissinger) Dolan.  She had graduated from Williamsport High School, then Penn State University, receiving her BS Degree in Elementary Education then Elmira College, receiving her Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist.  She had taught school in New York and also had worked at one time as a nature guide in New York.  She was a member of the Junior League in Elmira.

Patricia is survived by one sister; Kathleen D. O’Brien of Venice, FL, one nephew; James E. O’Brien of Far Rockaway Beach, NY and one niece; Kathryn A. O’Brien of Williamsport.

Burial services will be private at the convenience of the family in Montoursville Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
