Sandra Lee (Frey) Stutzman

WILLIAMSPORT -  Sandra Lee (Frey) Stutzman, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Williamsport Home where she resided.

She was married to the late George F. “Fred” Stutzman on December 17, 1960 and they celebrated 36 years of marriage until his death in 1997.

Sandra was born on September 28, 1940 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late J. Ross and Helen M. (Flexer) Frey.  She had graduated from Williamsport High School in 1959 then graduated from the Williamsport School of Commerce.  She had worked as a nurse’s assistant at Lysock View and Manor Care then retired.  She attended Annunciation Church and Faith Wesleyan Church.  Sandra had gone to Messiah Senior Community Center for many years and enjoyed crocheting, bingo, crafts and being around people.  She brought a smile to everyone she met.  Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.

Sandra is survived by two sons; Jerry F. Stutzman of Linden and Mark D. Stutzman and companion DeDee Lynn of Williamsport, three daughters; Ann R. Russell (Stephen) of Williamsport, Nanci M. Adams (Carl) of New Hampshire and Christine E. Welliver (Gene) of Cogan Station, nine grandchildren, six great-grandsons, one sister; Dottie Junod of Montoursville and one sister-in-law; Nanci Long of Montoursville.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother; Robert Roller.

There will be a public viewing 12 – 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Jay E. Jones from the St. Johns – Newberry United Methodist Church will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery.
