William T. Edwards, Sr

TROUT RUN - William T. Edwards Sr., 82 of Trout Run and formerly of Philadelphia passed away at his residence Tuesday evening May 9, 2017.

He was born in Philadelphia September 23, 1934 son of Walter J. and Bertha Urmson Edwards.  He was married to the former Alice Kelly who passed in June of 2008.  He was a retired switchman for Verizon Corp with over 25 years of service.  He enjoyed Philadelphia sports teams, the Phillies, Flyers and Eagles and also his beach house, boating and the ocean and he loved his dogs.

His survivors include his daughter Marion DeLosSantos (James) of Trout Run and his son William T. Edwards Jr. (Anna Marie) of Drexel Hill; 2 granddaughters Sarah Kehres (Dillon) of Williamsport and Lauren DeLosSantos of Ft. Worth, TX

William’s Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Eugene’s Catholic Church 200 S. Oak Ave., Primos, PA on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00am with Rev. Joseph M. McDermott Celebrant.  Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 am at the church prior to Mass.  Interment will follow in St Peter and St Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
