William “Bill” E. Reynolds, 90, of Pine Creek passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017.  He was born Aug. 19, 1927 in Williamsport a son of William Edgar and Thelma (Alles) Reynolds.  Bill was a 1945 graduate of Williamsport High School.  He was a WWII US Seabee Veteran, stationed in the South Pacific and The Marshall Islands.  He was a graduate of W.T.I. now Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Bill considered himself an Iron Worker even though he was the Secretary and Treasurer of Reynolds Iron Works in Williamsport. He was a member of the Frostproof United Methodist Church of Frostproof, FL and attended Cedar Run Baptist Church in Cedar Run. Bill was a Life Member and Past President of Pine Creek Volunteer Fire Company and a member of Waterville Volunteer Fire Company.  He was a member of The Otter Run Fish and Game Club, Life Member of the VFW Post #7863 Duboistown, The NRA, Sebring Enterprises and a Board Member of Breeze Hill Inc. in Florida.  Bill was a voracious mystery reader, loved to fish and a member of the Divine Providence Hospital Prostrate Support Group.

Bill was a very accomplished bowler; a member of the Local 700 Bowling Club and once bowled a 289 in National Competition. One of his loves was of gardening which was taught to him by his Father’s second wife, Marian.

His survivors include his wife, the former, Nancy (Neuhard), whom he married July 22, 1973.  He has three sons, Wayne Reynolds (Elaine) of Seminole, FL, Lawrence Reynolds of Tarpon Springs, FL and Kenneth Warner (Joan) of Clearwater, FL; two daughters, Barbara Paterson of Palm Harbor, FL and Cindy English (Keith) of Montoursville.  He is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great - great grandchildren.

Bill was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Waltz and a granddaughter, Willie Ann, also, two brothers, Robert and Howard; two sisters Hazel Hales and Helen Godfrey.

Memorial Services will be held, Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 2 pm at the Cedar Run Baptist Church, Cedar Run with his Pastor Gary Messinger officiating.  Contributions may be made in Bill’s name to the Volunteer Fire Company or Church of your choice.
