WILLIAMSPORT - Alberta J. (Weikle) Sechrist, 66, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her residence.

Alberta was married for 39 years to George L. Sechrist, who survives.

Alberta was born December 7, 1951 in Williamsport and was the daughter of Robert L. Weikle of Montoursville and the late Dorothy P. (Randall).  She had worked for Brodart's for 20 years and then Unique Industries for 9 years and retired in 2017.  Alberta was a member of the Salvation Army Church and enjoyed reading books.

In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by three daughters; Melissa A. Witt, Krista M. Sechrist and Amanda J. Sechrist (Christopher Morgart), all of Williamsport, two grandchildren; Alicia M. Witt and Madison J. Morgart, both of Williamsport, two brothers; William H. Weikle (Denise) of Montgomery and Clarence E. Cross, Jr. of Williamsport, two sisters; Christina K. Cross of New Jersey and Mildred S. Toti (Carl) of Williamsport.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by stepfather; Clarence E. Cross, Sr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th Street, Williamsport.
