WILLIAMSPORT - Ann Louise (Wood) Worthington, 68, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her home.

She was born on December 14, 1949 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Brown R. and Edythe M. (Zellers) Wood.  She was a graduate of Williamsport High School and was a dedicated homemaker.  She had volunteered at the American Rescue Workers Thrift Store and enjoyed animals, helping at the SPCA.

Ann is survived by her companion of 20 years; John C. Rishell, his daughter; Katherine R. Hamilton (Jeffrey) of Hughesville, John's grandson; Joseph C. Hamilton, Ann's sister; Penny J. Ohnmeiss of Montoursville, one niece; Melissa J. Cumberland (Keith) of North Ridgeville, OH and one great-niece; Jo Lee M. Cumberland of North Ridgeville, OH.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister; Linda L. Wood and one close aunt; Margaret A. Fitzsimmons.

There will be a gathering of family and friends 10 – 11 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Pete Wilson of the Calvary Baptist Church will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
