WILLIAMSPORT - Arrianna O. (Barbee) Tanner Confer, 61, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016.

She was born in Williamsport on January 24, 1955 and was the daughter of Alice J. (Trammel) Barbee of Williamsport and the late John A. Barbee.  She was a 1974 graduate of Williamsport High School and had worked at GTE Sylvania and Hon for many years.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking, gardening and was an avid bowler.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband; James D. "Jim" Confer, Sr., one stepson; James Confer, Jr., one step daughter; Lutricia Sampsell, one brother; Alphonso L. Barbee, two sisters; Alicia C. Dalton and Latasha K. Barbee and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Russell Tanner, one son; Desmond Tanner and one brother; John A. Barbee, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
