Barbara J. (Doctor) Wynn

ALLENWOOD - Barbara J. (Doctor) Wynn, 71, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was married on October 12, 1984 to Eugene C. “Gene” Wynn, who survives, and they have shared almost 42 years as husband and wife.

Barbara was born on October 7, 1954 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Rhea (Harman) Doctor. She graduated from Williamsport High School and worked at the Allenwood Post Office.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son; Timothy Wynn of Lamar, two granddaughters; Andrea Wynn of Collinsville and Emily Groff (Macenzy) of Montoursville and one brother; James Doctor of Avis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son; Matthew Baker.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
