Bess D. Baker, 97, of Montoursville passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Williamsport Hospital.  She was born in Harrisburg, July 25, 1919 the daughter of Louis and Nettie (Skolnick) Sacks.  Bess was a homemaker her entire life.

Her survivors include one son, Richard Baker, of Leesburg, FL and a daughter Joyce (Baker) Brown, of Mount Dora, FL; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a sister Estelle Mishkin, of Philadelphia.

In keeping with Bess's faith, services were held Friday, May 26, 2017 at her gravesite in Wildwood Cemetery, with Marvin Hurowitz presiding.

Arrangements were handled by Maneval Allen Redmond, 500 West 4th Street, Williamsport.
