WILLIAMSPORT - Beverly Ann (Johns) Howard, 79, died on Friday, June 24, 2016 at The Gatehouse.

She was married on February 21, 1959 to Neil L. Howard, who survives, and they have celebrated 57 years as husband and wife.

Beverly was born on December 15, 1936 in Cherry Tree and was the daughter of the late Horace and Mildred (Weakland) Johns.  She was a dedicated homemaker that enjoyed tending to her family.  She was a life member of the Moose ladies auxiliary and enjoyed painting pictures and crocheting.  In her younger years, she was an avid bowler.

In addition to her husband Neil, she is survived by two sons; Daniel E. Sayah, II and wife Debra of Williamsport and Neil L. Howard, Jr. and wife Michele of Manheim, two daughters; Danita M. Sayah and companion Timothy Klotz of S. Williamsport and Linda G. Kilburn and husband Timothy of Reinholds, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers; Horace "Chuck" Johns of Lake Shasta, CA and Jay Johns of Webster, NY and one sister; Samice Hawkins of Palm Springs, CA.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father; Elmer Allen, one brother; John T. "Ted" Allen and one grandson.

There will be a public viewing 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 and again 10-11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport, where the funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday with the Reverend Kenneth R. Weiss officiating.  Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
