WILLIAMSPORT - Carrline Jane (Barney) Hill, 74, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at her home.

Carrline was born on February 6, 1944 in Madison, NJ and was the daughter of the late James Ward and Lillian (Johnson) Parrish.  She graduated high school, then graduated from Essex County College in New Jersey with a degree in nursing.  She had worked at Wegmans, Genetti, Sun Gazette and Hope Enterprises.  She was a member of the Christ Community Worship Center and enjoyed sewing, games on the computer, fishing and playing pool.

Carrline is survived by her husband of 10 years; Chester G. "Chet" Hill, Jr., one daughter; Dalina M. Barney of Williamsport, one daughter-in-law; Tanya Bowman of Williamsport, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three brothers; James Barney, Eric Barney and Fred Johnson, one sister; Christine Hughes and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters; Lori Barney Scott and Marjorie Beatrice Raymonds.

There will be a viewing 10 – 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Christ Community Worship Center, 436 West 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Marwin C. Reeves, Jr. will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 East Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
