Obituary

Cindy Lee (Meyers) Werkheiser, 66, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 24, 1958, a daughter of the late Robert A. Meyers and Kathleen (Schaeffer) Beaver, who survives.

Cindy retired from Home Healthcare as an aide and worked most recently as a caregiver for her mother with her friend David Buck. She previously worked at Puffs and Joeys'. Cindy enjoyed shopping, going to auctions and playing bingo with her friends.

In addition to her mother, Kathleen, Cindy is survived by a son, Troy Werkheiser of Williamsport; a granddaughter, Nariah Lynn Werkheiser; a stepson, James Werkheiser; two brothers, Chester Beaver, Jr. (Ginny) of Muncy; and Tommy A. Beaver of Williamsport; a sister, Jenny DeGarmo (Phil) also of the city; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Robert, a son, Clarence Lee Werkheiser, Jr. and a brother, Cleon Beaver.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
