Dale Klingler Wagner

WILLIAMSPORT - Dale Klingler Wagner, 77, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 16, 2026 surrounded by family.

He was married on April 22, 2016 to Richard Michael Orrico, who survives.

Dale was born in Williamsport on November 1, 1948 and was the son of the late George W. and Ursula K. (Klingler) Wagner. He graduated from Williamsport High School in 1966, Penn State University in 1970 with a bachelors in Fine Arts, Defense Information School in Fort Benjamin Harrison in 1971 and Penn State University in 1976 with a masters degree in Communication. He served his country by joining the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He had been a partner with Orrico & Wagner Advertising and Marketing, LLC, co-owner of Club Z and Five & Dime Diner. He had been an instructor at Lycoming College from 1988 – 1991 and taught both Advertising and Marketing Research courses. He was very involved in the community over the years and was associated with; board member of the American Red Cross, Lycoming Chapter, member of the Williamsport Jaycees, Co-Founder of the Susquehanna Boom Festival, Co-Founder of the Susquehanna Valley Festival of the Arts, board member of the Community Arts Center, Board member of the Williamsport Housing Authority; Chairman two years, Board member of the Williamsport Chamber Choir & Orchestra and member of the Masonic Ivy Lodge 106, American Legion Post 1 and the Ross Club.

In addition to his husband, R. Michael Orrico, he is survived by one son; Carson B. Wagner, PhD of Loyalsock and two daughters; Bobbi Ann Grieco and Micki Lynn Wagner, both of Hughesville.

There will be a graveside service held 12 (noon) Friday, August 21, 2026 at Montoursville Cemetery with the Reverend Darlene Little officiating. Also, there will be full Military Honors provided by the Jersey Shore Honor Guard.
