WILLIAMSPORT - Donna J. (Knorr) Hancock, 93, passed away at her home on Monday, February 2, 2026.

She was married on July 10, 1954 to the late John G. Hancock who had passed away in 2014. They had celebrated 60 years of marriage at the time of his death.

Donna was born on October 7, 1932 in Wapwallopen and was the daughter of the late Stephen E. and Jeanette (Traugh) Knorr. She graduated from Berwick High School and had worked at Brodart for 25 years. Donna was also a dedicated homemaker who was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Williamsport, patron of the Community Arts Center, volunteered for the Red Cross and was a Brownie leader for many years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping reading and cooking. Donna also enjoyed Penn State football, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers and never missed the Little League World Series. She had also worked and supported her husband in obtaining is Doctorate degree.

She is survived by one son; Brian P. Hancock (Virginia KopKash of Tuckerton, NJ, one daughter; Karen L. Grentz (James) of Williamsport, five grandchildren; John J. Grentz and Keith J. Grentz, both of Williamsport, Jessica Mitchell (Grayson) of Pittsburgh and Lindsey and Heather Hancock, both of Tuckerton, NJ and two great grandchildren; Riley and Nora Mitchell. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by on son; Stephen Hancock, one daughter; Leighann Hancock and one brother; David Knorr.

There will be a gathering of family and friends 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport. All other services will be private at the convenience of the family.
