TROUT RUN - Donna P. (Sprankle) Lingenfelter, 88, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at her home.

She was married to the late Thomas Ellsworth Lingenfelter on May 9, 1957 and they shared 64 years of marriage until the time of his death on September 10, 2021.

Donna was born on February 7, 1937 in Reynoldsville and was the daughter of the late Floyd Kenneth and Frances Hope (Hollenbaugh) Sprankle.  She had graduated from Reynoldsville High School and then Dubois Business College.  She was a dedicated homemaker and also had worked at various sewing factories.  Donna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints of Williamsport where she was very involved with the youth group.  She was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts and member of the PTA. Donna enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, making jewelry and word puzzles. Sudoku was her favorite.

Donna is survived by four sons; Thomas K. Lingenfelter (Gwendolyn) of Pipe Creek, TX, Steven J. Lingenfelter of Hookstown, Daniel E. Lingenfelter (Holly) of Cowansville and Brent J. Lingenfelter (Toni) of Punxsutawney, two daughters; Linda L. Puterbaugh (Douglas) of Big Run and Greta L. Burkett (Joe) of Punxsutawney, 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one sister; Lorraine Himes of Western New York.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one infant son; two brothers; Kenneth Vebere and Bernard and four sisters; Audrey, Jackie, Nancy and Vanda June.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
