Earnest Richardson, Jr., 74, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport. He was born in Roxobel, North Carolina on April 16, 1946 to the late Earnest and Mary L. (Nichols) Richardson, Sr. A conservative man, Earnest mostly kept to himself, but his most cherished time spent was with his grandchildren and family. He loved sports and played baseball and football in high school. He watched sports all the time regardless of the season.

Earnest is survived by two sons, William Clarke, Patterson, New Jersey; and John Henry Foreman, Richsquare, North Carolina; two daughters, Lawanda Davis, Newark, New Jersey; and Roshonda Davis, Williamsport; two step-daughters, Candi Davis, New Jersey; and Cassandra Boswell, Jacksonville, Florida; a step-son, Charles Davis, New Jersey; 10 grandchildren, Ra-Quan Mars, Nakhi, Nahmir, Nahgee and Nahzir Whack, Ibn, Zahyonah and Zahyyir Hunter, Shaheer Clarke and Asaadah Robinson; two great grandchildren, Shaheem and Shajirah Clarke; five brothers, Charles  L. Richardson, Donnell Richardson, Cecil T. Richardson, Christopher Richardson, Sr. and Robert I. Carey; two sisters, Belinda R. Cornegay and Sheila M. Richardson; five aunts and one uncle; many nieces, nephews and lots of friends.

In addition to his parents, Earnest is preceded in death by his loving, long-time companion, Yvonne Davis.
