SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Edna M. (Crossley) Praster, 94, died on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Rose View Center.

She was born on May 11, 1921 in Jamison City, the daughter of the late Harry and Leila (Stackhouse) Crossley.  She graduated from Williamsport High School.  On May 13, 1943, she married the late Herbert C. Praster, Jr. who had died in 1984.  She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed bowling up to age 89 and reading.

Edna is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Herbert C. and Marlene Praster, III of S. Williamsport, one daughter; Penny L. Samar of S. Williamsport, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law; Helen and Frank Stoppa of Jacksonville, FL and one brother-in-law; Jack Lowe of Williamsport.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers and seven sisters.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
