BLUE BELL - Elizabeth "Betty" (Crandell) Neyhart, 91, formerly of Williamsport, died on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, Norristown.

She was married on December 12, 1942 in Sioux Falls, SD to the late George K. Neyhart, Jr., who died on February 2, 2013 and they had celebrated 70 years as husband and wife.

Betty was born on July 27, 1924 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Dr. Roy and Emma (Rose) Crandell.  She was a graduate of Williamsport High School, class of 1942.  She was a member of Faxon-Kenmar United Methodist Church, volunteered at the Williamsport Hospital and American Red Cross and had enjoyed golf, crewel, reading and traveling.

Betty is survived by two daughters; Deborah Kuster (Fred) of Jackson, NJ and Marilyn Neyhart-Anderson (Mike) of North Wales, two grandchildren; Lauren Kuster of Tampa, FL and David Kuster (Daniela) of Point Pleasant, NJ and two great-grandchildren; Jackson Kuster of Point Pleasant, NJ and Leila Kuster of Tampa FL.

In keeping with Betty's wishes, her services and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society Memorial Donation at humanesociety.org/site/donation.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
