MILL HALL - Emma C. "Carol" Trexler, 83, formerly of Altoona, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 at UPMC Williamsport.
She was born on March 8, 1941 in Gallitzin and was the daughter of the late Alvin Clement and Mary Margaret (Williams) Trexler. Over the years she has had various occupations including a dedicated homemaker. She was Baptist in her faith.
Carol is survived by one son; Victor S. Trexler of Claysburg, five daughters; Clara "Lisa" Roman of Bolivar, TN, Shirley L. Finnegan of Claysburg, Cindy L. Finnegan of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Betty J. Finnegan of Claysburg and Melissa K. Westerwelle of Middleburg, FL, 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and three brothers; David Trexler of Southgate, MI, Alvin Trexler of Detroit, MI and Jim Trexler of Detroit, MI. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son; Adel Alias Peters, brother; Robert "Bobby" Trexler, sisters; Anna Marie Ickes and Charlotte Louise Trexler Wilson, granddaughter; Dawn Marie Roman McGuire and grandson; Michael Paul Finnegan.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
Carol loved receiving flower arrangements. In honor of her memory, friends and family can display a flower bouquet at their homes.
