Obituary

WILLIAMSPORT - Eugene "Frank" Sander, 63, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna, surrounded by family and friends.

He was the husband of Theresa M. (Beaghley) Sander, his wife of 42 years.

Born October 9, 1954 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Luther E. and N. Cathrine (Blaker) Sander.

Frank was a graduate of Montgomery Area High School and served in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of Third Street United Methodist Church.

Prior to retirement, he was employed at J.W. Aluminum.  He also worked at Lyco Lube, Action Towing, Black Bear Truss and Marvin E. Fisher Mid City Storage.

Frank was a member of PA Angels on Wheels Car Club.  He enjoyed working on old cars and helping family and friends with mechanical work.  Frank was an avid fan of Penn State Football, NASCAR racing and WWE wrestling.

In addition to his wife Theresa, he is survived by two brothers; James E. of Williamsport and John W. Sr. of Bloomsburg, five daughters; Dawn Sander Paul of Easton, MD, Heather McClearen, of N. Irving, TX, Cathrine Sander of York, Teri Jones of Williamsport and Michelle Deavor of Williamsport, eight grandchildren; Crystal, Rachel, Faye, Alexis K., Steven, Alexis D. Abraham and Justin, and numerous nephews and nieces.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Raymond and Walter "Sonny" Sander.

Memorial service and burial will be at the family's convenience.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Third Street United Methodist Church.

Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
