WILLIAMSPORT - Gladys E. (Kline) Forrest, 75, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at The Gatehouse.

She was married on April 1, 1959 to Richard C. "Dick" Forrest, who survives, and they have celebrated 57 years as husband and wife.

Gladys was born in Williamsport on July 20, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Daniel F. and Dorothy Mae (Kratzer) Kline.  She was a dedicated homemaker who attended Newberry Church of Christ.  She was a member of AARP and enjoyed babysitting, traveling and watching soap operas on television.

In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by one son; Daniel F. Forrest (Mary E.) of Williamsport, one daughter; Dorothy M. Forrest of Harrisburg, one grandson; Daniel M. Forrest of Williamsport, seven brothers; Chester, Lester, Daniel and Edward Kline, all of Williamsport, Carson Kline of Bowling Green, KY, Charles Kline of Oval and William Kline of Jersey Shore, three sisters; Thelma Kline and Judy Moyer, both of Williamsport and Martha Winder of Owensboro, KY, mother-in-law; Emma Spencer of Montoursville and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a public viewing 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Robert Hart will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
