COGAN HOUSE - Harry W. Stryker, 78, of Cogan House, passed away peacefully on Jan. 23, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Oct. 4, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph and Clara (Caldwell) Stryker.

On Oct. 7, 1956, Harry married the love of his life, the former Gayle Louise Litzelman, who survives. Together they shared 59 years of marriage.

Harry's passion in life was farming. He proudly maintained the Century Farm named the Harry W. Stryker Family Farm Inc. He was a very hardworking man who loved to enjoy his free time by taking rides to town in the car or around the property on the four-wheeler. Harry enjoyed doing anything outside but especially loved to hunt. He was also a member of the Wheel Inn, Ralston.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Randy (Jessica) and Todd (Almnee) both of Cogan House; a daughter, Arlene (Jim) Sparks, also of Cogan House; two sisters, Helen Pentz and Joanne Litzelman; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being held by James C. Maneval Funeral Home.
