MUNCY - James L. "Jim" Killard, Jr., 70, died on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

He was married on November 1, 1974 to the former Joyce M. (Galligher) who survives.

Jim was born on September 1, 1946 in S. Williamsport and was the son of the late James L. and Freda (White) Killard, Sr.

In addition to his wife of 42 years, he is survived by three sons; James L. Killard, III of Tampa, FL, Charles L. Whelchel, Jr. of New Columbia and Rick J. Whelchel of Muncy, 6 daughters; Stephanie Killard of Tampa, FL, Vickie Moh'd Seder of Jordan, Theresa Snyder and Roxie Smith, both of White Deer, Candace Metzger of Turbotville and Kimberly Hillman of Muncy, 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and seven sisters.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter; Ruby Jo Killard and one sister.

There will be a public viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m.  Harold Brown will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
