WILLIAMSPORT - James Kulp, 76, passed away Thursday evening, December 28, at Gatehouse at Divine Providence, Williamsport.

He was born in Blossburg on July 28, 1941 to the late Elmer and Margaret E. (Blair) Kulp. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Jim was self-employed as a carpenter for Black Bear Truss, Trout Run, he farmed in Oklahoma, and he also worked at Frey's Turkey Ranch, Steam Valley. He loved nature and gardening. Jim also liked to paint and put together jigsaw puzzles, but his favorite pastime was baking Christmas cookies for his family.

James is survived by his companion of fourteen years, Ann Wodrig, a daughter, Linda Rogers, Jersey Shore, a stepdaughter, Margie Cramer, Montoursville, two granddaughters, Taylor and Rebecca, a step granddaughter, Jenna Lyn Cramer, a great granddaughter, Ella May, brothers, Robert A. Kulp (Jennie L. Buck), Trout Run, and Allen L. Kulp, Cogan Station, a sister, Ruth E. Stiner (Mark), South Williamsport, and a family friend, Sandy Eisner.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by a brother, Edward Kulp, a sister Shirley Regal.

A memorial service will be held for Jim, Friday, January 5, 4:00 pm at Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, Williamsport.

Family and friends are invited to call from 2:00pm till the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks the memorial contributes be made to Gatehouse Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd. Williamsport, PA 17701.
