James Bernard Woods, 71, was called home, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in his home in Williamsport, PA.

He was born in Newark, NJ on November 6, 1951 and was the son of the late Otis and Rosa Lee (Roebuck) Woods.  He attended West Kinney High School in Newark, NJ.  Throughout the years, James had various occupations, Reprographic Assistant, Garment Cutter and Spreader, Home Health Aide, and was a Certified Nursing Assistant.  He also enjoyed assisting others with various maintenance and odd jobs.

James Bernard Woods absolutely loved James Brown's music, he was definitely a top fan for sure.  He often shared lengthy stories of standing in line for every concert.  He was so proud to talk about James Brown and his album collection.

He also enjoyed fishing, painting, and watching Western movies.

A home going service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 26, at 12:00pm at Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 11:00am til the time of the service at the funeral home.
