Joanne E. (Hendricks) Johnson, 72, of Williamsport, passed away on December 21, 2021, at UPMC Susquehanna. Born in Orange, NJ, on November 28, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elaine (Garretson) Hendricks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney A. Johnson Sr., as well as her brother and sister. Joanne loved sitting on her porch, relaxing and enjoying nature. In her younger days, she enjoyed bowling, softball, baseball, as well as roller skating. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Rodney A. Johnson Jr. and wife Latrell, Edward T. Johnson and wife Leona, Gerald T. Johnson and wife Dushen;  daughter, Elaine A. Johnson; grandchildren, Mark, Joyelle, Alnor, Sheena, Terrance, Shakina, Shamika; great-grandchildren, Sheiana, Mahki, Shanniyah, Kobe, Khaleesi; as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 4, 2021, at Maneval-Allen Redmond Funeral Home, Williamsport, with Fonda Dortch officiating. Friends may call on January 4, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
