WILLIAMSPORT - John A. Johnson, Jr., 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Rose View Nursing Center.

John was born on December 13, 1935.  He was the son of the late John A. and Eleanor "Luther" Johnson, Sr.  His stepfather, Edward N. Edwards, had also played a large role in John's life.  John was enlisted in the Air Force for 10 years.

He is survived by three daughters and a son, Chrystal Moore of Virginia, Barbara Wilson and Doreen Johnson, both of Williamsport, John A. Johnson III of Harrisburg, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, RR #2, Box 484, Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003 with full military honors on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 12:30 p.m.
