ALLENWOOD - Joy D. (Kragl) Giles, 79, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Emmanuel Center for Nursing & Rehab in Danville.

She was born on December 18, 1945 in Havre de Grace, Maryland and was the daughter of the late John and Janett (Day) Kragl.  She had worked as a hairstylist at Bon Ton.  She was a member of Ohev Sholom Congregation in Williamsport and had a fondness for animals.

Joy is survived by two brothers; John Kragl and David Alexander and three sisters; Kitty Adolph, Nancy Grace and Patricia Caperton.

The memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport with Marvin B. Hurwitz officiating.
