Kay Eileen Reifsnyder, age 84, of Williamsport, passed away on June 4, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 22, 1941, in Warrensville, Kay was the child of the late Robert and Ruth Bennett.
Kay worked for Textron and then retired from the Williamsport Home. She attended Rose Valley United Methodist Church, Trout Run. Kay volunteered at the Eldred Township Fire Department and served on the Election Committee for Loyalsock Township. She loved to travel with her daughter Nancy, enjoyed puzzles, and playing dominos on Sunday nights with her family. Family was at the center of Kay’s life. She shared 47 years of marriage with Joseph Reifsnyder, building a loving blended family together. A breast cancer survivor, Kay was a wonderful woman who loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family gatherings.
Kay is survived by her husband, Joseph Reifsnyder; children, John (Laurie) Stroble, Nancy Kelley, David Stroble, Sue (Tim) Croucher, and Gary (Dianne) Stroble, William (Pam) Reifsnyder, Kevin Reifsnyder, John (Mary) Reifsnyder; grandchildren, Shawn (Andrea) Stroble, Jessica (Shawn) Smith, Amber (Michael) Koch, Joe (Jaime) Kelley, Erica (Matthew) Hepburn, Jill (Dan) Steppe, Paul Way, Pamela Way, Ty (Taylor) Stroble, Hunter (Mallory) Stroble and Laci Stroble, Ryan (Heather) Reifsnyder, Kyle, Brandon, Victoria, Jenna, Jasmine, Nikki Feaster, Cory Brown, and Amber Girardi; brother, Lyn (Patricia) Bennett, and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by a brother, Carl Bennet; son-in-law, Dennis Kelley; and two daughters-in-law, Connie Reifsnyder and Katie Stroble.
A celebration of life service for Kay will be held at 3pm on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation and Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport with Laci Stroble officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation from 2pm until the time of the service at the funeral home on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kay’s name to Susquehanna Health Foundation c/o The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
