JERSEY SHORE - Lloyd G. "Pappy" Fryer, 75, of Williamsport, passed away Sat. Dec. 5, 2015 at the Williamsport Home. He was born in Jersey Shore, February 27, 1940, the son of the late Fred and Evelyn Ruby "Miller" Fryer.  Lloyd was married on May 15, 1981 to Nancy L "Cupp" Fryer who died August 5, 2007.  Together they shared 27 years of marriage.

Lloyd lived most of his life residing in Jersey Shore and was employed by the Jersey Shore Borough and retired after 35 years.  He was a member of the Jersey Shore Moose since 1981 and attended the Trinity United Methodist Church in Jersey Shore.  Lloyd loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and also enjoyed the company of his beloved dog, "Sami-Ann". He enjoyed watching football and was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Lloyd was a quiet, hard working man and was known for his being a "jack of all trades".  He also enjoyed playing solitaire and watching old black and white western movies.

A daughter, Alicia Haines "Terry" of Montoursville, 3 brothers, Bob of Pine Run, Bruce of Maryland, and Jerry of Avis, 2 sisters Wanda and Ann, survives him.  Lloyd also is survived by 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Boyer "Andrew" and Laura Miller "Joshua".  Lloyd is further survived by 4 great-grandchildren; Jax, Ethan, Eli, and Lucas.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Janet.

Lloyd's Remembrance Service will be at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, 500 West 4th Street, Williamsport, PA  17701, Wednesday December 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM.  Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service with pastor Ken Weiss officiating.
