WILLIAMSPORT - Margaret L. "Peg" (Miller) Brown, 84, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at her home.

She was married to the late William N. Brown, Jr. on December 27, 1968.  They had shared 37 years as husband and wife at the time of his death on July 6, 2004.

Margaret was born on November 19, 1939 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Lisson) Miller.  She had worked at Trimtex for 38 years and then was co-owner of Peg & Bills.  She was a member of the AME Zion Church and had enjoyed playing the organ and paint by numbers.  She was an avid soap opera watcher.

Margaret is survived by four sons; Dale W. Erb, Jr. of Williamsport, Daryle W. Erb of Williamsport, David W. Erb (Lori) of Florida and Anthony D. Brown, Sr., of Williamsport, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one brother; Charles Miller, Jr. (Pam) of S. Williamsport and one sister; Fran Gough (Ken) of Linden.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter; Reyne' D. Erb and two brothers; William Miller and Thomas Lisson.

There will be a public viewing 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2023 at Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will begin at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery with Dawn Gueary officiating the services.
