Marie Louise Sapiente, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2016 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  Marie was born September 23, 1926 in Queens, NY, the daughter of Robert and Anna Fiore.

Marie married the love of her life Fred Sapiente on October 31, 1948.  Marie was the mother to Andrea Sapiente and Nadine Sapiente, Mother in law to Jeff Cook. Grandmother to Josh Drezner, Justin Drezner, and Bob Pasko.  Great grandmother to Bobby Pasko.

Marie retired from Staten Island, NY, moved to St. Petersburg, FL, where she enjoyed boating and searching for shells on the beaches.  Later in life she moved to Williamsport, PA to be closer to family.

Marie was always active in the community.  While living in Florida she was an election board supervisor and audited college classes at the University of South Florida.  When living in Williamsport Marie volunteered at the Lycoming County SPCA, and was active in the local YMCA, The Fitness Factory, North Central Sight Services, and a member of St. Boniface and St. Ann's churches.

Memorial donations can be made in Marie's name to the North Central Sight Services or the Lycoming County SPCA.

There will be no formal services.
