Marie F. Byerly, 92, a guest at AristaCare of Loyalsock passed away there Wednesday December 23, 2020.

She was born in Williamsport August 12, 1928. The only child of Eugene and Nellie (Plotts) Flock. She was married May 2, 1964 to Hugh O. Byerly who passed away May 5, 2017.

Marie was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church and for over 16 years was a Remedial Reading Aide for the Loyalsock Township School District. She was a devoted volunteer for the Williamsport Hospital, having logged over 600 hours. She was a former member of the Junior League.

Her only survivor is her son Jeffrey A. Byerly and his wife Beth of Williamsport. Marie was one of the kindest individuals anyone ever met, and was always willing to help anyone who needed it. She greeted everyone with her famous smile even after Alzheimer's robbed her of herself.  Marie loved her family, friends and pets with a passion.
