SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Mary Vera Geraldine "Vera" (Weaver) Martin, 102, long-time resident of South Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024.

She was born on July 11, 1921 in Cambria County and was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Naomi Geraldine (Cummings) Weaver.  Mary retired from Trimtex in 1986 after working there 39 years.  She was a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church and the Order of Eastern Star.  She was an avid bowler and had many awards for her achievements. She continued her bowling into the age of 96.

Mary is survived by nephew; Michael Loudenslager (Cheryl) of S. Williamsport, niece; Candace Hart (Eugene) of Loyalsock and step son; Charles Lehman of South Carolina.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Victor H. Loudenslager, her second husband; Benjamin F. Martin and two brothers; Elwood and Thomas J. Weaver.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
