Melanie "Meme" Marie Kuntz, 43 of Hummelstown, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Montoursville. She was born in Miami, Florida on May 12, 1977.

Melanie, "Meme" liked people and was very friendly and outgoing, which shined through in her work as a waitress for The Mill in Hershey. She loved animals and had a big heart. Meme would do anything for anyone. She lit up the room with her bright, happy personality. Meme loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews.

Meme is survived by her parents, Susan (Atticks) and Ed Kuntz, two brothers, Jacob (Erica) Kuntz, Montoursville; and Norman (Morgan) Kuntz, Hummelstown; a sister, Christina (Nate) Richie, Hummelstown; four nephews, Guss, Everett, Norman Jr., and Cole Kuntz; two nieces, Madeline and Willow Kuntz. She is preceded in death by an aunt, Patricia Calhoun, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of life service for Meme will be held at a later date. The family suggests that donations be made in Melanie's name to the Humane Society of Harrisburg at 7790 Grayson Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17111.
