Michele 'Shelly' Hoffman Ramsauer, of Montoursville, died at home on January 31, 2020.

She was born August 2, 1954 to the late Lorraine (Kreiger) and Philip Hoffman Sr.

Shelly attended South Williamsport School District throughout her schooling career, and was a proud Mountie. After graduating from South Williamsport in 1972, Shelly attended Harrisburg Area Community College.

She returned to the area and worked for the Department of Public Welfare for 35 years before her retirement.

Michele always enjoyed traveling and had many fond memories from her trips abroad and throughout the US...always loving trips to the beach.

Michele leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Robert 'Peru' Ramsauer of Montoursville, a daughter Hannah Ramsauer of Williamsport, stepchildren Haley (Tony Rodenzo) of Manassas, VA, and Ryan (Abby) of Commerce City, CO, and granddaughter Pheona Rodenzo. She also leaves behind a brother, Philip Hoffman, TN, and a sister, Jean (Lou) Mazzante of Easton, PA as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and inlaws. Shelly also leaves behind her best friend Anna Payne of Williamsport, and her consummate companion, Gus.

A celebration of life will be held at the Peter Herdic House on March 1st from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Lycoming County SPCA or the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
