WILLIAMSPORT - Miriam Schuck Weiss McCarrick, known to many as "Mim", passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Miriam was born on October 15, 1926 in Germantown and was the only child of the late Frederick and Marie (Waidner) Schuck.

Miriam had lived in the greater Philadelphia area and Macungie most of her life. She moved to Williamsport about a year ago, where she enjoyed this last chapter of her life at Leighton Place (formerly Rose View Court). She made many friends there, enjoyed the activities and loved the family atmosphere. The staff and other residents quickly became her extended family.
She played tennis and golf most of her life and enjoyed playing bridge even up through her last years. She was an avid reader, usually reading one book every week. Her mind remained sharp and followed world events daily, enjoying conversations about any current topic.
She loved God and her family and friends and will be missed by many.
