WILLIAMSPORT - Raymond L. Willits, 74, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.

Raymond was born on February 18, 1947 in Jersey Shore and was the son of the late William Vanemon and Irene (Willits).

He enjoyed watching old western television shows, having company around, Conway Twitty and his pet cats.

Raymond is survived by one daughter; Deneen E. Lapp (Sean Newcomer) of Williamsport, four grandchildren; Elizabeth Feigles, Shawna Newcomer (Carter), Abbyegayel Newcomer (Gabe) and Justice Newcomer, one great-grandchild; Evren Bacon and one brother; Thomas Willits of Jersey Shore.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; William Vanemon, Jr., Jack Willits and Dale Willits.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport.
