Robert E. Deuel, 81, of Faxon, passed away late Saturday evening, Sept. 2, 2017, at the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital.
He was born June 3, 1936, in Williamsport, a son of Frederick and Dorothy (Rickolt) Deuel. He was married Oct. 26, 1957, to the former Dorothy Starr who survives. Early in life he was an automotive and insurance salesman and retired from his own advertising agency. He liked fishing, computers and gadgets. He was a true handyman and enjoyed cats.
Besides his wife of 60 years Dorothy, he is survived by four sons: Robert E., of Menlo Park, Calif., Stephen C. (Susan), of Linden, Christopher J., of Duboistown, and Mathew W. (Kati), of Loyalsock; one daughter, Lisa A. Cosentine (Steven), of Williamsport; along with nine grandchildren.
Bob's Life Tribute will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 1 p.m.  from the Maneval, Allen, Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with Pastor Dorothy Giordano officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to Bob's visitation from noon until 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
