Roberta A. (Deckman) McCloskey

WILLIAMSPORT - Roberta A. (Deckman) McCloskey, 86, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was married to the late William B. McCloskey for 42 years at the time of his death on April 13, 2008.

Roberta was born on March 7, 1940 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Robert Porter and Catherine Mae (Fornwalt) Deckman. She was a dedicated homemaker and had also worked in her earlier years at the Day & Night Restaurant. She was a member of the 40 & 8 SOL Club and enjoyed gardening, cooking, family, yard sales, drawing, playing cards and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She loved to drink her coffee and read the newspaper.

Roberta is survived by three daughters; Jennifer Kuntz (David), Robin Lisson (Thomas) and Elizabeth Myers (David), all of Williamsport and six grandchildren; Shawn Lisson, Joshua Lisson, Shane Lisson, Kaitlyn Myers, Zach Myers and Lily Myers.

There will be a public viewing 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport and again 10 – 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the funeral home where the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery.
